In our country there are millions of children yet not enough play areas for them. A small proportion of children, from more affluent neighborhoods, have access to playgrounds at their schools, neighborhood parks and private clubs. An overwhelming number of children are content with gilidanda and sandpits at construction sites.

The People4People Trust Fund for Kids believe that the fundamental right of every child is uninhibited playtime.

When People4People erected the first playground at the Thubarahalli  Government School the kids were on the slide even before the paint dried. The true joy and sparkle in their eyes as they zipped down the slide, climbed up the jungle gym and teetered on the seesaw was worth every rupee. At each new playground the overwhelming joy exuding from the children has been duplicated.

The goal of People4People is to erect playgrounds in the poorer localities of India.

Each new playground costs approximately Rs.35000 each. People4People will attempt to put up playgrounds through generous donations from kind hearted people such as yourself, who care for the cause of children. If you would like to help us reach this goal please contact drsmaheshwari@yahoo.com
