CT scan of the chest, abdomen and pelvis with intravenous contrast

Findings and Impression:

There is moderate right pneumothorax with collapse of the underlying lung. A chest tube is noted with its tip at the right apex.
There is also a small left pneumothorax. There are subtle ground glass opacities in the left lower lobe, likely representing contusions.
Extensive airspace opacities with air bronchograms and multiple posttraumatic pneumatoceles are noted in the right lower lobe, likely representing contusions/laceration. However the possibility of aspiration pneumonia cannot be entirely excluded.
The mediastinum is normal without evidence of hematoma or aortic injury.
Linear hypodensities are noted in the caudate lobe of the liver (image #52, 55) with pericaval hypodensities, likely representing lacerations.
There is a tiny linear cortical hypodensity in the left kidney at the lower pole (image #72), suggestive of a tiny laceration. There is an adjacent right perinephric hematoma measuring 1.8 x 1.7 cm (image #74).
The gallbladder, pancreas, adrenals, bowel and left kidney are unremarkable.
The spleen is surgically absent with multiple surgical clips in the left upper quadrant.
There is no free fluid or free air.
There is a comminuted fracture of the inferior ramus of the right pubis with adjacent soft tissue hematoma.
