North Carolina
We are planning a return to some of the finest wreck diving on the East Coast, the wreck valleys off North Carolina. We had a great trip in '07 and will be planning another with Olympus in '08. We will once again be hitting some of the best wrecks off Morehead City. The water should be pretty warm and the visibility excellent. That is what makes North Carolina so popular. The trip includes three days of diving and three nights in the hotel.

Bonaire
Bonaire is one of our favorite places to dive. Diving just doesn't get any easier than it does there. We keep our gear at the dive shop, down by the water and the reef right in front of the shop is excellent. You can be sitting by the pool; decide to go divine; and in 20 minutes be on a good dive. You'd love it. We will be running 2 trips in 2009, one in March and our family trip in August. But you can come even if you don't bring your family (or they don't want to come with you). As usual, we will be staying and Diving with Buddy Dive Resort. Our accommodations are condos with two bedrooms, two baths, and a living room, dining room, and a kitchen. We also get a rental vehicle for each condo. It is a double cab pick up truck which makes beach diving a breeze. The dive package includes 11 boat dives and unlimited beach dives. And like our April trip we have also gotten a number of great perks as part of the trip. We have FREE nitrox, and a restaurant voucher for their poolside restaurant worth up to $75.00 (50% off up to $150 worth of purchases). The great part of this trip, besides the diving, is that it is family month in Bonaire and it is a perfect time and place to take your family. They have children's programs and it may be possible for your kids to stay for free. Call me for details. The cost of this trip is $200 less for non-divers

Blackbeard's Cruise
One of the best deals in diving is a Cruise with Blackbeard's. For the price , you will have more fun adn get in more diving than you can anywhere else. Blackbeard's boats are 75-foot sailboats that depart from Freeport in the Bahama chain and ply those waters where the day boats can't reach. With 6 days of unlimited diving, you can rack up some impressive bottom time on some very nice reefs. It is important to know that the boats are sail boats and accommodations are berths, but you will have a blast. Food is good and plentiful. You can dive practicaly anytime the boat is not moving and you even get to spend a night in Bimini, mid-week. We have not set up airfare for this trip, as there are alwaays good deals around. I f you would like us to get your air, we would be happy to do it. We have only reserved half the boat, so let us know before those spots are gone.

Belize
The Great Barrier Reef lies half-way around the world. But the second longest barrier reef lies off the coast of Belize. And we are going to Belize in April. This is your chance to join us. We have chartered Peter Hughes' Sun Dancer, a luxury live aboard. This will allow us to explore the outer reaches of the reefs and atolls off Belize. Thes are places like Lighthouse Caye, Blackbird Caye, Turneffe Atoll, and the Blue Hole. It is even possible to encounter Whale Sharks at this time of year. The trip includes boat, all meals, drinks, and diving. Space is limited, so sign up now. The group airfare is higher than the current published airfare so we have just been purchasing air for divers as they sign up for the trip. You can even get you own air if you would like.

Cozumel
A perennial favorite, Cozumel offers some of the best reef diving in the Caribbean. We have been doing an October trip there for the past fourteen years. It is one of the most popular trips that we run. We will be staying again at the Reef Club, which is being refurbished after Hurricane Wilma. This is an all-inclusive resort that provides us with our diving, all meals, drinks, and accommodations. We also include a lobster or steak dinner at a great restaurant in town one night. And you won't even have to worry about tipping the divemaster as they will be taken care of for you as well. Rich Mampe, our trip leader,is next to famous at the Reef Club. He knows everyone there and they take great care of us. This is a great trip. Dive the Palancar reef and you will see why Cozumel is a major dive destination.

Sipadan Water Village, Malaysia
This is probably the coolest resort that I have ever stayed at. It is built on stilts out over the ocean. I was sitting on the porch of my cottage, late one afternoon, and I heard a hissing sound. As I looked over the railing, a turtle had just surfaced right below my deck. Too cool. There were plenty more turtles on the dves. On one dive we saw 25. We saw 10 in one spot. Then there are ribbon eels, frogfish, cuttle fish, manderin fish and more and more and more. You will spend 9 nights at the Water Village with 8 days of diving. If that is not enough for you, we will also be going to Borneo to visit the Orangutan Rehabilitation Center and take a river trip in search of the Probiscus Monkies. And finally, you will do a night jungle walk in the Sepilok Nature Resort with an English speaking guide. (Most Malaysians speak English.) You will pass through Kuala Lumpur and get to see the Far East. This is a great Trip and it is only $4795.00. Give us a call now and we will really convince you to go.

Tobermory, Canada
If you love wreck diving but don't want to travel to Truk Lagoon to get it, you need to try this. We will be diving in the Fathom Five National Marine Park in the Georgian Bay off Lake Huron. These protected wrecks lie in fresh water and have been protected for over 20 years. The absence of the wood boring worms found in salt water, causes these wooden wrecksto hold up very well. We have chartered the Dawnlight, a live aboard to take us to these wrecks. Also you will find the area around Tobermory absolutely stunning. It is the northern most point of the Niagara Escarpment and there is some great hiking and photography as well. Click below for more details.

Nassau, Bahamas
When you need to dive but can't get a week away, come to the Bahamas for a quick weekend. This year we will be running several trips and they are sure to be a blast. As usual we will be diving with Stuart Cove. Many movies and tv shows have been shot with Stuart and his crew, including Flipper and Openwater. This trip leaves on a Saturday and return on a Tuesday. They include 4 reef dives but other dives are available including shark dives, night dives, and wall flying (with scooters). We do not hold spots so it is important that you do not wait to make a reservation. There may be no spots left or the price could go up. So get you deposit in soon and get on one of these great trips.

Little Cayman
When people ask me where is the best diving in the Caribbean, my reply is Little Cayman. With Bloody Bay Wall and Jackson Bay, you will love the diving. We will be staying at the Little Cayman Beach Resort, with nice accommodations, great dive \ boats and incredible food. The trip includes 3 meals daily, 3 dives daily, airfare and accommodations. We will fly first into Grand Cayman and then hop over to Little Cayman. We actually land on a dirt runway and then taxi up onto the island's only road to off load. It it just amazing. I love being far away from the jetports and the crowds. Obviously, this is a small trip so sign up quickly.

Australia and Papua New Guinea
We are looking to return to Australia and PNG again in June, 2009. Although it is not their summer, it is a great time to see, snorkel, and dive with the Minke whales. We did this on our last trip there in 2004 and it was really exciting. Although you can never guarantee whales, we had at least a half dozen hanging around us when we encountered them. The way the trip works is that we would fly up to lizard island on a low altitude charter along the Great Barrier Reef, board our boat at Lizard Island, and sail and dive back to Cairns. We would then jump over to PNG and stay a week at the Tawali Resort. This is a fabulous resort on Milne Bay, built by the owner of Oceanic. Check out their web site at www.tawali.com. Let me know if you are interested and I will get you the details as they firm up.

Curacao
After many years of visiting Bonaire, some friends convinced us to try Curacao. It is the next island to the west and a little more developed than Bonaire. During the last two years George has taken two groups there and stayed at Sunset Waters Resort. He was very happy with them and we will be returning there in November. The trip includes airfare, hotel, all meals and drinks, and diving. We have only reserved 12 spots so sign up quickly.

Red Sea & Africa
This is an absolutely incredible trip. We have done it twice now and it is my very favorite trip overall. First, we go to Egypt and spend a week diving some of the best dive sites in the world while on a liveaboard dive boat. Then we spend another week touring the wonders of ancient Egypt; the pyramids, the sphinx, the antiquities museum, and the Valley of the Kings. Then, finally, we head down to Kenya and spend a week on a photo safari. It will knock your socks off. Lions and zebra and elephants and giraffe. It is NOT Great Adventure. It is a great adventure. We are chomping at the bit to do this trip again. Hopefully, the world will calm down in the next year or so and we can make definitive plans. Let us know if you would be interested and we will keep you posted.

Sea of Cortez
Sea lions, manta rays, dolphins. Need I say more. This is exciting diving. As a matter of fact, I believe that the you will consider the sea lion dive one of the ten best dives that you have ever done. Add to that diving with the manta rays and maybe an encounter with dolphins (or maybe whales) and you will have an experience like we have had in the Sea of Cortez in past years. This year, We will be staying at Los Arcos in La Paz. We only have 12 spots reserved so let us know if you are interested.

Fiji
Jeff and Ada just returned from a great trip to Fiji. They are in the process of putting together a group trip for November 22 into early December. We want to be able to offer either 10 days or 2 weeks. There will be a bunch of diving and some touring as well. I have been to FIji twice in the past and really enjoyed it. The diving is great and the people are wonderful. When you are hiking around Taviuni, you will even find some natural watersldes -- if you have the guts.

* Indicates Approximate price. It is important to remember that all prices are based on double occupancy and on current airfares. Unfortunately airfares can change up until we actually purchase the tickets. (Then, of course, the airlines charge a penalty for any changes, if they allow changes). This is usually not a problem, but it can happen. Also please note that if you are signing up alone, we will try to line up a roommate for you, however, if we cannot there will be an additional charge for a single supplement. Again, this is not something under our control and we must pass this charge along. ** Plus Airfare
