Flexible Shafts

Flexible shafts, available in three diameters, allow reaming to depths of up to 440 mm:
  ·   With 9.0 mm fixed front-cutting reamer
  ·   8.0 mm diameter, for 9.5 mm-12.5 mm Medullary Reamer Heads
  ·   10.0 mm diameter, for 13.0 mm-19.0 mm Medullary Reamer Heads

The flexible shafts are made of coaxially arranged tubular wire coils. Pulling on the shaft may damage the coils. The shafts are driven clockwise with the power source. Do not reverse the shafts; they may uncoil.

Flexible shafts are always used over the 3.0 mm Reaming Rod and should be checked for damage before use. Do not use without a reaming rod.
