2. Insert Radial Pins
Make a small skin incision at the site of planned
pin insertion, bluntly dissect the soft tissues and
push the drill sleeve to the bone. Care must be
taken to avoid the sensory branch of the
radial nerve.
Insert two 4.0 mm/3.0 mm or 4.0 mm Schanz
screws, parallel to each other. (Use a 2.0 mm
Drill Bit through the drill.sleeve to predrill for
Schanz screws.)
