GOAL

The goal of these courses is to provide an educational opportunity for operating room personnel who participate in the care of the orthopaedic trauma patient. Course topics will be presented utilizing a dynamic combination of lectures and hands-on practical sessions. The practical sessions will provide the participants with the opportunity to take an active role in the fixation of artificial bone fractures under the direction of faculty lab instructors.

AO North America Foundation is accredited as a provider of continuing education in nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

This continuing education activity is approved by the Association of Surgical Technologists, Inc. for 13 Category 3 CEs for continuing education in surgical technology.
