The Faculty of this Course is composed of orthopaedic surgeons and operating room nurses distinguished in caring for the orthopaedic trauma patient.

GOAL

The goal of this course is to provide an educational opportunity for operating room personnel who participate in the care of the orthopaedic trauma patient. Course topics will be presented utilizing a dynamic combination of lectures and hands-on practical sessions. The practical sessions will provide the participants with the opportunity to take an active role in the fixation of artificial bone fractures under the direction of faculty lab instructors.

ACCREDITATION

AO North America Foundation is accredited as a provider of continuing education in nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

This recognition does not imply that the AO North America Foundation or the ANCC Commission on Accreditation approves or endorses any product included in the activity. This course has been awarded 16.5 Contact Hours for Registered Nurses.

This continuing education activity is approved by the Association of Surgical Technologists, Inc. for 14 Category 1 CEs for continuing education in surgical technology. Approval refers to recognition of educational activities only and does not imply approval or endorsement of any product or company displayed in any form during the presentation of educational activities.

Tuition for this course is $250.00 (US) and $366.00 (Canadian-exchange rate date 3/10/03)
