Human anatomy has not changed much over the centuries,
but our way of looking at it certainly has! The advent
of cross sectional imaging has made this
possible-something that would have belonged in the realm
of sci-fi in my fledgling years in the profession.
It is even more fascinating and wondrous to participate
and contribute to the management of patients many
continents away, to be virtually in that far-away ER, as
a part of the team attending to these emergencies.
