About the Acupuncturist

Meredith Murphy is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Pennsylvania and certified as a Diplomate of Acupuncture by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She received her Master of Acupuncture degree from the New England School of Acupuncture in Massachusetts, the oldest school of acupuncture in the country and a leader in the field of traditional Asian medicine. Meredith has been classically trained in Japanese and Chinese acupuncture, as well as additional training in pediatric insertive and non-insertive acupuncture, Korean acupuncture, Five Element acupuncture, and Tuina massage.

Several years ago, Meredith realized that over half of her patients were seeing her for infertility. On top of that, almost 3/4 of her patients were seeking treatments for women's health in general, thus began her journey into the world of fertility and the birth of the Natural Fertility Center of Pennsylvania. Her vision has always been one of total well being- inside and out. Her caring and patience is obvious from the first visit. She has become very active in the fertility world making strong connections with many of the Reproductive Endocrinologists in the greater Philadelphia area. She is also an active member and volunteer for Resolve: The National Infertility Association.

Meredith is active in the community and in the forefront of public education about acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. She has been on TV shows such as Healthwatch on the CBS 11 o'clock news and Tea With Sherri, as well as in national and local publications such as Running Times magazine and Philadelphia Style magazine. You may also be able to catch her at one of the many local health fairs in the area.
