Faces in Bloom. Most of the tiles in this piece are handmade from clay. There are special applications of glazes to give a whimsical watercolor effect to the faces and flowers. Note that two of the tiles are from vintage porcelain flowered wedding name plate settings. The rest of the tiles are all hand made. The pale lilac, pink, peach, blue, clear and aborial glass jewels complete the compliment of mosaic elements. All are glued to hardibacker and grouted with snow white grout.
